TikToker Nicole Arena had to spend $45 to change clothes after being stopped at Disney World. The influencer was reportedly told to wear a shirt over her white top.
“I was so happy to be here that I didn’t even realize I was ‘inappropriately dressed’ and that I would be forced to buy a $45 shirt or leave the park without being able to enter the attraction I waited an hour for,” the TikToker lamented.
In a post, she took a photo with her husband, both wearing sports clothes, in a line for an attraction at Epcot park. Nicole was wearing long black leggings and a white top.
“There were many people at Disney wearing much less clothing than me,” protested the TikToker, who was only showing part of her stomach and arms.
“Anyone who goes to the gym knows it’s completely normal to wear a sports top and leggings. I went to Disney like I go to the gym,” she justified.
The TikToker was prohibited by park employees from entering an attraction, which divided opinions among internet users.
“I mean, it’s a bra. Of course you can’t wear that in a family-oriented park. Let’s be realistic. I’m glad they’re starting to take this seriously,” commented one person.
“Guys! I wouldn’t have even noticed her outfit. And besides, it’s really hot,” defended another.
Disney has not yet commented on the incident, but their website states that visitors must wear “appropriate attire,” including shoes and shirts.
